It is a very evocative place where daily life flows peacefully and people still meet at the table for lunch and dinner. Gabriele D&rsquo;Annunzio defined it as the \u00ab\u00a0City of silence\u00a0\u00bb where \u00ab\u00a0it seems that the same sky lights up the countryside\u00a0\u00bb, touched by the vision of the vast landscapes that dominate from there. In fact, from Montefalco the gaze soars high and quickly touches hills, woods, rivers and cities: Assisi, Perugia, Spello, Foligno, Spoleto, Bevagna, Trevi. Gabriele D&rsquo;Annunzio l&rsquo;a d\u00e9finie comme la \u00ab Ville du silence \u00bb o\u00f9 \u00ab il semble que le m\u00eame ciel illumine la campagne \u00bb, touch\u00e9 par la vision des vastes paysages qui dominent de l\u00e0. En effet, depuis Montefalco le regard s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve haut et touche rapidement les collines, les bois, les rivi\u00e8res et les villes : Assise, P\u00e9rouse, Spello, Foligno, Spoleto, Bevagna, Trevi. Splendidi, vigorosi e amabili come nel caso del Sagrantino Passito, essi hanno una storia antica quanto quella della citt\u00e0, ed una fama che va rapidamente diffondendosi nel mondo. Accompagnano superbamente arrosti e dessert. Dopo questo racconto provate ad immaginarvi, non solo ospiti felici di questa \u201cgrande casa\u201d ,ma \u201callievi\u201d nella grande cucina , insieme ai cuochi veri che vi rivelano trucchi e segreti della cucina italiana! Se l\u2019 immagine vi piace potete tradurla in realt\u00e0 perch\u00e9 la Signora Alessandra tiene Corsi di Cucina abbinati al soggiorno in albergo durante l\u2019 anno. Se poi amate il vino e volete assaporarne gli aromi pi\u00f9 reconditi, potrete godere di degustazioni guidate tenute dal Sig. Mauro, esperto Somelier. Nella bella stagione il rosso del vino si mescola ai colori vivaci dell\u2019estate montefalchese. In settembre si svolge invece la \u201c Settimana Enologica\u201d, mostra mercato dei \u201cVini Montefalco e dei prodotti tipici del territorio\u201d; in settembre la \u201c Festa dell\u2019 Uva\u201d, con carri a tema sulla vendemmia e le attivit\u00e0 legate alla produzione del vino.
